Sofia & Olivia | National Junior Representatives
Hi! My name is Sofia, and I’m so excited to be representing JB USA as its Senior NJR. I am from Cincinnati but I study at Washington University in St. Louis, where I am majoring in Global Culture Studies, and minoring in Printmaking and Spanish. I’m currently studying abroad for a year in Santiago, Chile. Some of my favorite things are: mountains, ice cream, kittens, fresh flowers, new art supplies, and podcasts. I’ve been involved in JB for the past seven years and I’ve absolutely loved every minute of it. JB to me is not only a tool for expressing our international organization on a local level, but a global movement of kids trying to make a difference all over the world. JB is a dream and a community. It’s a mix of global ideas and local actions, good people and great energizers. It’s creative, full of energy, and incredibly fun. Please friend me on Facebook and send me an email! I would love talking with you!

Hey everyone! My name is Olivia, and I am super excited to be representing JB USA as its Junior NJR! I am a sophomore studying anthropology and peace and conflict studies at Colgate University (a small school in the middle of the tundra that is central New York)! I love sour candy, singing Disney songs as very loud volumes, country music, funky socks, and ceramics! I’ve been involved in CISV since I was 9 and am originally from the New York chapter. JB has been a huge part of my life for so long, and it has shaped me both in the ways that I think and the ways that I live my life. JB to me is the most unique part of this organization in how it teaches people to lead and problem solve while acting in order to create a more unified global community. I’m thrilled to serve as your Junior NJR, and look forward to meeting and working with all of you! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me!
